Muskegon Opportunity is hosting a mentor training workshop from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, in the Blue & Gold Room on the Muskegon Community College campus at 221 S. Quarterline Road.

As a leader in collaborative community problem solving since 1918, United Way of the Lakeshore is excited about the potential a generous gift from the Gary F. Bogner family provides for the community.

MUSKEGON - Day of Caring will kick off United Way of the Lakeshore’s 2010 campaign on Friday, Sept. 10, with two community preservation projects in Muskegon County. This year’s projects include clean up and restoration at Beegle Field in Dalton Township and the site of the new United Way of the Lakeshore Human Services Center located at 31 E. Clay in downtown Muskegon.
