Join us for Rake A Difference, a community event where volunteers of all ages come together to assist local seniors by raking their yards. This is a unique service opportunity with no age restrictions—children, teens, adults, church groups, and businesses are all welcome to participate and make a difference!

What You'll Do: As a volunteer, you'll be assigned to a senior's home, identified by a local agency, to help with yard cleanup. United Way will provide rakes, gloves, and leaf bags for each site, but you are welcome to bring your own rake if you prefer. Teams will arrive at their assigned location and rake the yard, leaving filled leaf bags for pickup and disposal.

If you're signing up as a team, you have the flexibility to complete your assigned yard at any time during the day—just let us know your preferred time in advance! This allows for flexibility with work schedules or group availability.

Volunteer Assignments: Assignments, including addresses, will be provided one week before the event. If you have a preferred neighborhood or area, please indicate this during sign-up, and we will do our best to accommodate your request (though specific assignments can't be guaranteed).
