The Legacy of Caring Award recognizes a lifetime of incredible philanthropy, resulting in a lasting impact on the lives of so many in our community. United Way’s strength is built on the foundation of these caring leaders. Community leaders Brad and Janice Hilleary received this prestigious award this year. Brad and Janice’s family truly embody the “spirit” of United Way of the Lakeshore’s mission. The Hilleary family owns and operates Webb Chemical Service Corporation, a full-service chemical distributor dedicated to safety, quality products, and superior customer service and Trace Analytical. Their generosity to United Way and our community over the years is immeasurable. Brad Hilleary has been highly involved with United Way in several capacities, such as serving as Campaign Cabinet Chair, Impact Council and on the Board of Directors. Through their leadership, Webb executes one of our top workplace campaigns, engaging employees through special events and a company match. They have invested in countless initiatives, agencies, events and community economic development. Janice continues to be a leader and advocate for children in foster care. They have opened their hearts, arms, and home to over 60 foster children while raising their 5 biological children. There is no doubt The Hilleary family’s generosity, advocacy, and volunteerism will leave a lasting legacy and footprint on not only our community but our hearts as well.
