Crisis Intervention - Domestic Violence

COVE supports individuals who have experienced intimate partner violence or sexual assault. COVE serves Oceana, Mason, Lake, and Manistee county 24/7/365 by providing crisis intervention services through our helpline, emergency shelter, and sexual assault nurse examinations. COVE provides outreach services for individuals as well as education the community on the root causes of violence.

COVE is committed to providing equitable services by having a mission and core value system that guides our services and decision making. Every year COVE continues to utilize survivor and community partner feedback to ensure we are reaching out to all individuals who have experience intimate partner violence. COVE trains and coaches staff and volunteers our standard for inclusion.

Our emergency shelter is equipped with interpretation services, handicap accessible living areas, and staff 24/7/365 to support any individual living in our shelter. We have the ability to provide culturally specific needs and continue to reach out and build relationships to underserved populations in Mason, Lake, Oceana, and Manistee.
