Answer Dr. King’s Call to Serve by Supporting Young Learners
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” This MLK Day, we invite you to honor his legacy by helping us create 300 early learning kits that will support children in our community and promote education—one of the pillars of Dr. King’s vision for equality and opportunity.
These school readiness bags will be donated to:
- Campbell Elementary (Mona Shores)
- Orchard View Head Start
- Orchard View Great Start Readiness Program
- Oceana Early Learning Center
- Migrant Early Head Start
Each bag will be filled with tools and activities to inspire creativity, foster a love of learning, and prepare children for success in school and beyond.
Volunteer Event: Monday, January 20th - 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, located at United Way of the Lakeshore, 31 E Clay Avenue, Muskegon MI, 49442
